We have provided the skill and development tools to help build successful e-business and
information management solutions.
You can see an example of our work at the BBRT
Survey System web site. BBRT is the Beyond Budgeting project of the
Consortium of Advanced Manufacturers International (CAM-I), a
cross-industry consortium of large organisations aimed at furthering
research into advanced manufacturing and corporate management techniques.
This system is written in Java with extensive use made of JavaServer
Pages (JSP). Over 60 Java programs cooperate to provide the business logic
behind the pages and an SQL database is used for data storage and
retrieval.
Dynamic reports are created using Java and XML. The largest such report
is over 100 pages long, contains over 90 dynamically generated tables and
over 100 dynamically generated charts. It is capable of performing comparative
statistical analysis for hundreds of users.
CAM-I is based in Texas with offices in the UK.
We have recently completed a large project at Sun Microsystems
Inc which included the design, development and implementation of Enterprise JavaBeans (EJB) for use
in their internal systems. SQLTechnology
worked on this project in San Jose, Denver, Dallas, Toronto and London over a four year period.
Sun, based in Palo Alto, California, is the worlds largest manufacturer
of Unix servers and the inventor of both Java and XML.
For a number of years SQLTechnology has
been closely associated with ViryaNet Inc by providing design, development, implementation
and support services. Based in Boston, Massachusetts, ViryaNet are world leaders in Workforce Automation systems with a
particular emphasis on the telecommunications industry, but also with many large customers in fields as diverse as
computer manufacturing and petro-chemicals.
Before moving their focus of operations to the US, ViryaNet was the largest software house in Israel, with offices in the US, UK, Germany and
Japan.
